Acoustics

Details

Acoustics is the branch of physics about sound. We all use sound waves to communicate but very loud sounds can damage our hearing. Very quiet sounds can be heard, amazingly with much less than one billionth of a joule of energy. Let's look at some of the physics of sound and how hearing works. A consideration of how much sound renewable energy installations will produce is an important factor in planning these facilities.
